This $8.8-million project is housed in front of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and comprises the reinstatement of the existing Duke's Dock infrastructure into an operational dry dock and gate for the heritage-listed Polly Woodside, which has been internationally recognised for its contribution to world maritime heritage. It also involves providing adequate river-bed depths for the tall ship, as well as removing any obstacles such that it can be moored outside the dock.
