Located within the old docks area along Docklands Drive, Docklands, the New Quay West Development by MAB will provide 18 new three story townhouses.
The old wharf structure will be demolished to make way for a new wharf structure and public promenade which will tie into the adjacent shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
The alternative design submitted by Contexx Engineering consisted of an integrated reinforced concrete structure for the new 3,000sqm wharf and promenade which meets the strict 50 year and 100 year durability requirements for the project and offered substantial cost and time savings.
